Addictions Treatment

Journey Healing Centers

Journey was founded with the belief that recovery flourishes in a safe, healing environment.Located in the foothills of the beautiful Wasatch Mountain Range near Salt Lake City, Utah, Journey offers a healing experience in a naturally serene, reflective environment, with a lush garden, peaceful stream, and scenic Koi pond. Once a first-class bed and breakfast, the facility now serves as one of the most comfortable and effective addiction treatment centers in central Utah.

Peaks Recovery Centers

Triple Peaks Recovery and Serenity Peaks Recovery Centers are gender specific, extended care, substance use disorder treatment programs for young adults, ages 18-30. Located in beautiful Colorado Springs, Peaks Recovery Centers integrate a variety of individual, group, and trauma therapies to treat both substance use disorder and many co-occurring mental health issues. Our six-month PHP/IOP program followed by our three-month OP program setting, allows each individual within our program to incrementally move forward in their recovery. Our programs are favorably structured for young adults and specifically designed to promote long term recovery in an accountable, communal setting.

Behavioral Health

Mount Saint Vincent

Mount Saint Vincent is a treatment center for children with severe behavioral and emotional challenges due to mental illness, trauma, abuse, or neglect. We are a flagship agency for Dr. Bruce Perry's Child Trauma Academy and use the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics in our treatment of children with trauma.

Noeticus Counseling Center and Training Institute 

Noeticus Counseling Center and Training Institute is a community-based, not-for-profit group counseling practice and professional training organization based in Denver, Colorado. Our mission is to provide innovative, effective, and affordable counseling and educational services to a broad range of individuals, couples, and families living within the greater Denver/Boulder community. We are also committed to offering basic and advanced training opportunities to graduate students and mental health professionals both locally and across the country. We especially value doing this through collaborative and engaging community partnerships or affiliations with other like-minded individuals, organizations, agencies, institutions, universities, and foundations.

The Eating Disorder Foundation is a non-profit organization devoted to helping people with eating disorders, as well as their family and friends. Our mission centers on a wide range of free support services and extensive educational efforts, all provided at no cost.

 

Higher Education

DU Center for Professional Development

DU's Center for Professional Development (CPD) delivers the gold standard in inter-professional continuing education for Denver professionals like you by providing trusted content from world-class experts across specialties and disciplines. CPD's programs are nimble and can keep pace with your contemporary workplace. Taking courses through CPD allows you to maintain your specialty credentials/licensure or re-specialize easily. CPD is fully accredited by the American Psychological Association, the National Association of Social Workers and the Colorado Department of Education to provide continuing education credits. You do not need to be currently affiliated with the University of Denver to take our programs, but DU alumni do receive access to specialty pricing.

University of Denver, Graduate School of Social Work

The Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Denver offers Master of Social Work (MSW) education in Denver, Durango and Glenwood Springs, and will launch its Online MSW program in January 2017 with a focus on mental health and trauma. Our MSW program, ranked #17 in the country, includes eight concentrations, global practice courses/internships and certificates in animal-assisted social work, social work with Latinos/as, and couples and family therapy. GSSW’s PhD program is among the oldest in the nation.

Psychiatric Services/Hospitals

Centennial Peaks Hospital

Centennial Peaks Hospital is a 72-bed behavioral health hospital offering treatment to adolescents and adults with psychiatric and addiction disorders. Our hospital provides a wide range of services including inpatient crisis stabilization, medical detoxification, electroconvulsive therapy, and intensive outpatient programming. We strive to enhance the mental health, safety, and well being of our patients, their families, and the community at large.

 

Other Services

Second Wind Fund (Suicide Risk Resources for Children/Teens)

Second Wind Fund is a non-profit organization that provides access to therapy for Colorado children & teens at risk for suicide and who face financial or social barriers to receiving treatment. We are seeking exceptional therapists throughout Colorado, including rural and frontier communities, who are licensed and experienced in providing therapy to children and/or teens at risk for suicide.
