Join me as I share the basics of multicultural case conceptualization. In this session I introduce a conceptual approach to multicultural counseling, one that avoids stereotypes and honors the unique values of clients. Based on this approach, I describe strategies for understanding your client’s worldview, the importance of considering the etiology of a client’s presenting problem, and how to use this information to develop a counseling intervention specific to your client’s cultural values and presenting concern.
