Welcome to CO-SAIGE
The Colorado Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities (CO-SAIGE) is a recognized branch of SAIGE national (i.e., saigecounseling.org; a division of the American Counseling Association) and a division of the Colorado Counseling Association. Our purpose is to advocate for the voice, equity, and inclusion of LGBTGEQIAP+ persons by promoting the professional development of counselors and related professionals to ensure that all LGBTGEQIAP+ individuals in Colorado receive ethical, affirming, and inclusive services.

Value of Membership
Achieving our Mission can only be done by working together. Having been formally recognized as a state branch of SAIGE national in 2023, we are still building the foundation for our organization. Membership to Colorado SAIGE (CO-SAIGE) provides the opportunity to influence and engage with the work of our organization, to stay up-to-date on related issues in Colorado, and offers the chance to pursue an active role in supporting the LGBTGEQIAP+ community and the counselors that serve our community in Colorado.
Membership Pricing: Membership pricing is described in the CO-SAIGE Bylaws. Pricing is designed to promote access to the organization while still providing support for the function of the organization.
Professional: $15
Professional members shall hold a master’s degree or higher in counseling or related mental health field and/or be credentialed in counseling or related mental health field through a certificate or license.
New Professional: $7.50
New Professional members are people who have graduated from a counseling program in the last two years.
Student: $7.50
Student members shall include persons who are enrolled at least half-time in a graduate counseling or related educational programs in a college or university.
Retired: $7.50
Retired members are persons who were professional members of ACA, CCA, SAIGE, or another related professional mental health organization prior to retirement.
Associate (non-voting): $7.50
Associate members are individuals who are interested in counseling but do not meet requirements of the other membership categories.
Affiliate (non-voting): $15
Affiliate members are organizations who are interested in counseling and CO-SAIGE content but are not interested in benefits accrued to individual members. Members of an organization that has purchased an Affiliate membership may not, by virtue of membership in the organization, claim member discounts or benefits via CO-SAIGE or CCA.

Denver Pride: CO-SAIGE was excited to participate in Denver Pride in 2023.
We will be participating in 2024 Denver Pride on June 22 & June 23.

SAIGE 2024 Annual Conference: Our national organization, the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, & Gender Expansive Identities, is hosting their 2024 annual conference in Golden, Colorado on October 4th and 5th! We will be hosting a booth at the conference and are excited for this opportunity to connect with all of you and with other state branches in attendance!
