
Dr. Vasti Holstun President
Dr. Vasti P. Holstun, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, NCSC, is an assistant professor in the Counselor Education and Family Studies department at Liberty University. She is president elect-elect of the Colorado Counseling Association. Prior to becoming a counselor educator, Dr. Holstun was a school counselor for 16 years. Since 2007, she is also a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice in Colorado Springs, CO, where she continues to provide counseling to children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Holstun presents frequently at state and national conferences on spirituality in counseling, mental health in schools, and counseling supervision. She has conducted research and written on supervision in counseling, burnout and compassion satisfaction, career counseling, and on school counseling topics, advocating for supporting mental health in school settings.
