Stevie White President

Stevie White, M.Ed., LPCC, NCC (They/Them/Theirs) is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate with a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Montevallo. They are currently a doctoral student in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of Northern Colorado and serve as the President of Colorado SAIGE (Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities).

As a counselor, Stevie has cultivated expertise across a variety of mental health settings, working with diverse clients facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. They hold specialized competencies in LGBTGEQIAP+ support, with a focus on queer identities, open relationship dynamics, sexuality, neurodivergence, and religious trauma. Committed to creating inclusive and affirming spaces, Stevie is particularly passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate the complexities of authenticity in a socio-cultural context.

As a leader, Stevie embraces a transformative approach rooted in collaboration and the co-creation of shared goals within the community. In advocacy, they are dedicated to promoting the principles of social justice, education, diversity, equity, inclusion, scholarship, and liberation through an intersectional lens, reflecting the values of SAIGE. As a new state chapter, they hope to contribute to expanding CO-SAIGE as an emerging go-to resource for the community and their providers.
